Whose shoulder is this?
It's warm and tear-stained
It's firm and comforting
It's strong like a soldier's
But gentle like a father's
Whose shoulder is this?
Whose voice is this?
It's soft and peaceful
It's authoritative but humble
It's strict but encouraging
This that speaks of immense forgiveness
Whose voice is this?
Whose heart-beat is this?
It was one that was silent for awhile
It was one that beat again
It was one that broke away the bondage
And it's still beating, beating, beating
Whose heart-beat is this?
Who is this man I see?
He is a man of majesty
He is a man of humility
His hands and feet, they speak, of the scars
His back is marked with lashes
Because of love which led to sacrifice
For you and for me
Who is this man I see?
